The Shadow's first broadcast was over 70 years ago, Sept 26th 1937. We're proud to re-broadcast this for a new era to hear. This first program was thought to be lost for along time. Orson Wells was the first up to play The Shadow on radio.

Join us at http://blogtalkradio.com/DCR at 11pm EST this Sept 26th 2007 for the re-broadcast of The Shadow's first radio adventure. You never know, The Shadow himself just might make an appearance. Or would that be "dis-appearance?" ;)

We have a lot of exciting programing coming up in the next few weeks! Thought I'd write and let everyone know what we're planning.

For Thursday Sept 20th 11pm EST Michael I. Silberkleit, Publisher and Chairman of Archie Comic Publications will be joining us for a look back at Archie and Gang's nearly 66 year long run! You don't want to miss this one that's for sure folks!

Wed Sept 26th 11pm EST is the 70th Anniversary of the FIRST Shadow radio broadcast on Sept 26th 1937. We're pleased to rebroadcast the first episode from this long running radio program. Thought to be lost for along time, we're lucky to still have it with us. Orson Wells played The Shadow when they first started.
Join us for a night when... "The weed of crime bears bitter fruit....CRIME DOES NOT PAY!"

On Sept 27th 11pm EST program, Gary Lassin, owener/director of the 3 Stooges fan club, will be joining us for the hour to talk about the boys and his
"Stoogeum". Call ins are welcomed ya Knuckleheads! Free year subscription to the fan club given away this night!

And for the month of October we're planning some very creepy program with all month programing devoted to Halloween/Horror/Monsters/Ghouls. EVERY DAY A BROADCAST IN OCT!!! This is very exciting and huge effort but I really believe it will pay off. More details on it soon as we approach boils and ghouls.
Stay tuned!

Sorry, Wrong Number broadcast July 27th

We'll be skipping our Thursday Retrospective for this week and returning to that format August 2nd.

But in the meantime we'll be airing on Friday(early Saturday for you east coast listeners) July 27th at 12:30am EST "Sorry, Wrong Number" starring Barbara Stanwyck and Burt Lancaster. The classic film came to radio thorough the LUX Radio Theater (originally broadcast on
01/09/50) which turned many major movies into audio dramas. Turn the lights and computer monitor out for an hour of thrills and chills in this great thriller!

Tune in HERE!
